Alexander James Recruiting is currently working with a leading manufacturer of material handling equipment that are looking to bring in a Project Manager to work within their National Key Account team. With a competitive base salary coupled with a great overall package, this is an excellent opportunity for an individual with experience of managing the expectations of key stakeholders within Material Handling or another sector within Intralogistics.
Responsibilities
- Being the point of contact for National Account customers across the UK
- Delivering of high value projects from point of order through to delivery and sign off
- Developing project plans for key stakeholders both internally and externally
- Ensuring that all equipment is delivered on-time and clients are kept up to date with milestones throughout the duration of the project
- Coordinating closely with the National Account sales team and other internal departments when needed
- Travelling to customer sites across the UK as and when required
Requirements
The company have a preference for an individual with a background of managing projects for key account customers within the Material Handling industry. This however isn’t essential, they would also be open to looking at project managers from other related industries such as automation and warehouse racking. Another consideration with be candidates that are working in different roles within Material Handling but have regular responsibility to manage the expectations of clients with large fleets. In terms of location, the role will be national so, provided you are willing to travel around the UK, you can be based anywhere.
