A leading agricultural machinery dealer is looking to employ several new field-based engineers to service their client base across Essex and the surrounding areas. With a competitive salary & overtime opportunity plus numerous other benefits, this is a great opportunity for an experienced agricultural engineer interested in a new role.
Responsibilities
- Work on servicing the full range of agricultural machinery including tractors, combines, forage harvesters and many more.
- Have the ability to use a laptop just as much as the hands-on work.
- Developing a knowledge of a wide variety of equipment within a technically developing fleet.
- Reporting to the Service Manager to ensure all equipment servicing is carried out efficiently.
- Representing the company in a professional manner whilst visiting different clients.
Requirements
- The company has a preference for an individual from an agricultural background, but this is not essential. They are open to considering candidates from other backgrounds including heavy plant and commercial vehicles and other related sectors provided you have strong experience and/or relevant qualifications.
- You will have excellent communication skills and be willing to participate in training to improve and further your skills.
- The candidate will also be required to work overtime during peak periods.
- In terms of location, you will need to be based in Essex or the surrounding areas.
Benefits
- Competitive wage £32.1k - £42.9k (£18 - £22 p/h).
- 37.5 hour working week.
- Overtime paid at time and a half and double on Sundays.
