A well-established, expanding material handling company is looking to recruit a new field-based forklift service engineer to service their client base across the Great Yarmouth & East Coast areas. With a competitive salary & overtime opportunity plus numerous other benefits, this is a great opportunity for an experienced forklift engineer interested in a new role.

Responsibilities

  • Servicing forklifts for businesses around the Great Yarmouth & East Coast areas
  • Carrying out preventative maintenance and product installations
  • Working on other material handling equipment to include pallet trucks and reach trucks where necessary
  • Reporting to the Service Manager to ensure all equipment servicing is carried out efficiently
  • Coordinating with the customers, resolving any queries to the customers’ satisfaction

Requirements

  • The company have a preference for an individual from a forklift truck background ideally with experience of working in field service.
  • You will be able to work well on your own with your own initiative and have good customer facing skills.
  • Ultimately, the company are after an individual with the right attitude and work ethic.
  • In terms of location, you can be based anywhere around the Great Yarmouth & East Coast areas.
