Aleander James Recruiting is currently representing an industry leading manufacturer in the Warehouse Storage industry that is looking to bring on a new Junior/Graduate Designer to work on projects for their clients from their site in the West Midlands. With a competitive package and opportunities for progression, this is a great opportunity for a trainee/graduate with experience of designing using CAD software.

Responsibilities

  • Using CAD software to design and create technical drawings and plans based on requirements supplied by the sales team
  • Editing designs and various stages of the process as the customer requires
  • Checking the feasibility of the manufacture and construction of the product
  • Ensuring that all drawings comply with the health and safety protocols set out by the industry
  • Liaising with the sales team in order to ensure the customers’ requirements are realistic

Requirements

  • The company are open to candidates from a variety of backgrounds provided they have used, and have a strong understanding of, CAD software.
  • You may have some basic experience of CAD within your career to date although this isn’t essential as long as you understand the software.
  • You may be a recent graduate in an engineering discipline.
  • It is essential that you live within commutable distance of the company’s offices in Wolverhampton.

  • Up to £30,000 base salary, depending on experience
