Alexander James Recruiting is currently working with a well-established, expanding material handling company looking to recruit a new field-based forklift service engineer to service their client base across West Suffolk. With a competitive salary & overtime opportunity plus numerous other benefits, this is a great opportunity for an experienced forklift engineer interested in a new role.
Responsibilities
- Servicing forklifts for businesses around the West Suffolkarea
- Carrying out preventative maintenance and product installations
- Working on other material handling equipment to include pallet trucks and reach trucks where necessary
- Reporting to the Service Manager to ensure all equipment servicing is carried out efficiently
- Coordinating with the customers, resolving any queries to the customers’ satisfaction
Requirements
The company have a preference for an individual from a forklift truck background ideally with experience of working in field service. You will be able to work well on your own with your own initiative and have good customer facing skills. Ultimately, the company are after an individual with the right attitude and work ethic. In terms of location, you can be based anywhere around theWest Suffolk area.
