Alexander James Recruiting is currently working with a leading supplier of various racking and storage solutions looking to recruit a new Project Manager to effectively manage and coordinate their warehouse projects across the South and other areas of the UK. With a competitive package and scope for growth at a leading warehouse solutions provider, this is a great opportunity for a CAD qualified professional from within the racking industry seeking a new role.
Responsibilities
- Attending customer sites, discussing project requirements and supporting the sales team in consulting customers on racking & storage to provide the best warehouse solution.
- Costing projects effectively and other administrative contracts duties.
- Coordinating and managing labor on site.
- Ensuring projects run smoothly from start to finish.
- Travelling to the head office in the south for meetings as and when required.
Requirements
- Racking & storage experience is essential for this position as it will be a fairly autonomous role from the start.
- It is essential that you have managed projects before and have the ability to manage both customers and labor on site.
- The position has fantastic long term opportunities within the group as they are continuing to expand and develop rapidly.
- The company’s head office is in the South but they work on projects across the UK.
- You can be based anywhere from the Midlands down to the South coast but there will be requirements to go to the office on a weekly basis for meetings.
