A well-established, expanding material handling company is looking to recruit a new field-based forklift service engineer to service their client base around the Birmingham and Coventry areas. With a competitive salary & overtime opportunity plus numerous other benefits, this is a great opportunity for an experienced field engineer interested in a new role.
Responsibilities
- Servicing a client based around the Birmingham and Coventry areas
- Servicing forklift trucks & other material handling equipment
- Fixing other equipment to include plant hire
- Ensuring excellent customer service and representing the company in the right way when servicing & repairing forklifts & other equipment
- Attending the workshop from time to time and occasionally working on call
Requirements
- The company have a preference for an individual from a forklift truck background but this is not essential.
- The company are open to considering candidates from other backgrounds including plant, powered access, automotive/commercial vehicles or any other related sectors, provided you have strong hydraulics and pneumatics experience.
- You will be able to work well on your own initiative and have good customer facing skills.
- Ultimately, the company are after an individual with the right attitude and work ethic.
- In terms of location you can be based anywhere within the Birmingham (B) or Coventry (CV) postcode areas.
