A leading supplier of industrial batteries and related products is looking to bring on a Battery Cleaning Operative to assist with cleaning and general maintenance of forklift batteries for clients based at Heathrow Airport. With a competitive hourly rate and the potential for the role to become permanent over time, this is a great opportunity for an individual with a good work ethic looking for a new role.
Responsibilities
- Cleaning and carrying out basic maintenance on forklift batteries at Heathrow Airport
- Working alongside the company’s Forklift Battery Engineer based permanently out of Heathrow Airport
- Developing an understanding of the company’s products over time with the potential of the role becoming permanent
- Adhering to all the airport’s Health & Safety protocols
- Carrying out any other general tasks alongside the engineer as and when required
Requirements
- The company are open on the background of the candidate they bring on. What is really essential is that you are a willing and committed individual, who is interested in working night shifts and is ready to work on a temporary basis with the potential for the role to go permanent.
- You will be required to get a DBS check in order to work at Heathrow Airport as a requirement following a job offer being made.
- In terms of location, you will need to be based within commutable distance of Heathrow Airport.
Benefits
- Competitive hourly rate (Up to £17)

- 40 hours per week (10.30pm – 6.30am)
