A well-established, global automation provider is seeking a business development manager to sell their ASRS systems across the UK. With a strong basic salary and bonus, this is a great opportunity for an individual to join a business with a strong reputation in their sector.
Responsibilities
- Develop business on a national basis by working with end users, integrators, and third-party providers.
- Work with partner managers of the manufacturer to assist customers effectively.
- Be a product specialist in relation to ASRS systems.
- Provide simulations with customers in order to aid in winning new business on various size projects travelling nationally.
- Attend various industry exhibitions and events.
Requirements
- The successful candidate will ideally be a project sales focused professional from within the automation sector.
- It is highly preferable that you will be a product specialist in relation to mobile automation and ideally have strong experience of ASRS, AGVs, or AMRs.
- Individuals from outside of automation may be considered but will need to show a high level of commercial acumen and strong experience from the intralogistics sector.
- The company is seeking an individual who can seek new business successfully and require someone to be highly consultative in order to win large projects.
- The role also requires national travel.
