A national dealer of a leading forklift product is looking to bring on a new Parts Coordinator, based in their Maidenhead depot. With a competitive basic salary, this is a great opportunity for an experienced parts coordinator looking to get into a new role or industry with progression potential.
Responsibilities
- Overall management of the parts department and assisting with the service department when required
- Identifying and ordering parts for forklift trucks and other related Material Handling equipment using various portals
- Dealing with both suppliers and customers over the phone
- Working directly with Service Controllers and Service Managers throughout the ordering process
- Liaising with engineers in the field and in the workshop to ensure that correct parts are ordered efficiently
Requirements
- Experience of working within the Material Handling industry in a role with a parts focus is ideal, but not essential
- The company would also consider candidates with experience from similar industries such as plant hire, powered access, automotive, commercial vehicles or any other industries with transferable knowledge
- The role may also suit an individual with experience working within the Material Handling industry as an engineer
- You will need to be based within commutable distance of Maidenhead
