ALEXANDER JAMES RECRUITING is currently working with a provider of specialist material handling equipment who are seeking a new Field Engineer to service their client base across the North West. The position requires an individual with experience in either Material Handling, Agriculture, Construction or similar, looking to move into a new role with a well-established company. With a competitive package this is a great opportunity to work for a stable & innovative provider of specialist forklift truck products.
Responsibilities
- Servicing a fleet of material handling equipment to include specialist forklift trucks
- Reporting to the Service Manager to ensure all equipment servicing is carried out efficiently
- Working alongside the rest of the engineering team to maintain a high level of customer service
- Developing a knowledge of the company’s customer base and representing the company in the right manner when attending customer site
Requirements
- The successful candidate will ideally have a strong background in engineering within the Material Handling industry but this is not essential.
- They would also be open to candidates with backgrounds in Agriculture, Construction, Commercial Vehicles or Automotive.
- The company have a preference for candidates that have a strong understanding of hydraulics and are able to work well on their own initiative.
- In terms of location, you will be based within the North West area since the customers are based in this region with some requirements further afield.
