Field Service Engineer (Forklift Trucks)

Alexander James Recruiting is currently working with a leading dealer of material handling equipment looking to recruit a new Field Service Engineer to service a growing fleet of trucks within Reading and surrounding areas. With a competitive salary and a number of other benefits, this is a great opportunity for an experienced engineer interested in a new role or an individual from a similar background looking to get into the industry.

Responsibilities

• Servicing a client base across the Reading area with a focus on servicing forklift trucks
• Fixing and servicing other, related material handling & specialist equipment to include access and pallet trucks
• Ensuring excellent customer service and representing the company in the right way when visiting customer sites
• Attending the workshop from time to time and occasionally working on call

Requirements

The company prefers an individual with experience within the Material Handling industry. However, this isn’t essential; they would also be interested in speaking with candidates with a background in plant hire, powered access, commercial vehicles, or automotive. In terms of location, you will ideally be based in or around the Reading area.
