A leading dealer of material handling equipment is looking to recruit a new forklift sales manager to cover and develop their client base across South Yorkshire, Nottinghamshire, and Derbyshire. With excellent, uncapped commission opportunities and scope for growth, this is a great opportunity for an experienced forklift sales professional to take on a new role selling an innovative product.
Responsibilities:
- Managing an existing client base across South Yorkshire, Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire.
- Business development across the same area selling the company's innovative forklift solutions.
- Generate new business by visiting customers on site, conducting site surveys and providing customer quotes for forklift hire.
- Providing a consultative sales approach in order to win new business in the hire and sale of material handling and related equipment.
- Take responsibility for region revenue stream and overall growth.
Requirements:
You will ideally have worked in a sales role within forklift trucks before, with a proven track record in the industry and have the ability to seek new customers effectively. You will be proactive in your approach to selling and will have a solid understanding of equipment hire. The company is expanding quickly and needs an individual who is able to benefit from their products at a fast pace. In terms of location, you can be based anywhere within South Yorkshire, Nottinghamshire, or Derbyshire.
