This is a full‑time position for a Deputy Nursery Manager, based on‑site at our London location. The role involves assisting with the daily management and operations of the nursery, ensuring that high standards of education, care, and safeguarding are achieved at all times.
Responsibilities include:
- Supporting and mentoring staff
- Managing nursery activities
- Maintaining compliance with regulatory guidelines
- Fostering strong communication with parents and caregivers
- Ensuring the nursery provides a positive, nurturing environment for children to develop and grow
Qualifications:
- Experience in Nursery Management and familiarity with working in a nursery or early years setting
- Strong knowledge of Safeguarding and Safeguarding Children practices
- Excellent Communication skills for engaging with colleagues, parents, and external stakeholders
- Ability to lead and support a team, ensuring collaborative and effective nursery operations
- Relevant childcare qualifications, such as NVQ Level 3 in Childcare or equivalent
- Understanding of regulatory standards like the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
- Paediatric First Aid certification is advantageous
- Proactive, organized, and passionate about early years education
