Overview
32 hours £20,317.44 + £1,600 bonus (£21,917.44 OTE) + monthly service charge payment. Attendance bonus, 10% retail commission, retail bonus. 4 weeks holiday rising to 5 weeks with service. 8 Bank holidays. Free car parking. Free uniform.

The Place
An opportunity for recently qualified level 3 Spa Therapists to launch a beauty/spa career or to take the next step for those with some post college experience. Working with our experienced Spa team will boost your career in beautiful surroundings. Our luxury Utopia Spa at the 4 Star Rowhill Grange Hotel is part of Alexander Hotels, a private collection of quality hotels of distinction just outside London. Spread across 2 floors of pools, bubble tub, sauna and steam rooms, it offers relaxation to guests by the pool, in the hydrotherapy pool or under the monsoon showers, or in our new relaxation room. We have 19 treatment rooms including a double treatment room as well as a gym, hair spa and beautiful gardens and grounds. Our Spa Therapists offer a range of treatments in this perfect setting to day clients, residents and local members.
The Role
A passionate Spa Therapist is required to join our team of therapists providing a full range of facials, manicures, pedicures and body treatments, with a focus on ensuring guests have an amazing experience. Our 25 therapists are selected to provide the very best treatments, supported by a Reservation and Spa Reception team and our experienced Spa Manager, Melissa. As well as excellent facilities we offer training, development and progression opportunities to match. Indeed, Melissa is a product of that success. Joining us some years ago, working across front of house departments before covering maternity leave for our last spa manager, taking over when she chose not to return. Melissa is now responsible for the operational success of our busy Utopia Spa.
As a Spa Therapist you will:
- Offer a full range of technical facial and body treatments during your shift
- Meet and greet the client on arrival
- Complete client consultation cards/information
- Take the guest through the customer journey
- Explain the treatment to be performed
- Ensure the treatment is offered to the clients' requirements
- Discuss retail products and beauty regime to enhance guests' experience following their treatment
- Offer refreshments in the relaxation area on conclusion of the treatment
- Liaise with Spa Receptionists to ensure correct billing
Qualifications
Shifts include; 9.45am – 6.15pm, 10.45am – 7.15pm, 11.45am – 8.15pm. 32 hrs over 4 days including weekend shifts. NVQ Level 2 and Level 3 Beauty Therapy, or equivalent, is essential. Completion of a trade test with the Spa Manager prior to recruitment.
