The predicted salary is between 14 - 14 £ per hour.

Flexible hours available. Up to £14.24 per hour including holiday pay, age and experience related. You will also receive a service charge payment based on the hours worked each month. Free car parking and uniform provided.

The Place: Alexander House Hotel & Utopia Spa, part of Alexander Hotels, a private group of quality hotels of distinction just outside London. 5 Red Star Hotel, award-winning Utopia Spa, 57 bedrooms including the new luxury Cedar Lodge development and a 2-bedroom self-contained Gatehouse are available for guests. Two award-winning restaurants, Reflections Restaurant (2 Rosette x 60 covers) and AG’s Restaurant (3 Rosette x 35 covers), together with a range of conference and banqueting and private dining rooms catering for 8 to 95 guests.

The Role: Working across our banqueting suites, restaurant, lounges and terraces we can offer completely flexible hours of work. Mornings, day times, evenings and weekends, whatever fits in with your requirements. You will be serving food and beverage to residents, spa guests, local visitors and those attending weddings/banquets and other functions.

Duties include:

  • Preparing the banqueting suite/restaurant/lounge/terrace for service
  • Meeting and greeting guests
  • Taking guest orders
  • Serving food and beverage including alcoholic beverages
  • Completing satisfaction checks
  • Resolving any service issues
  • Presenting bills to guests and taking payment
  • Resetting the restaurant/lounge/terrace at the end of the shift ready for the next service
  • Ensuring work area is clean and tidy before departing

You must have a smart appearance, excellent communication skills with a passion for guest service, and experience within a quality food service hotel/restaurant required.
