AM Shift:6:00am 2:30pm (30-minute break)

Role Overview:
As a Transmission Technician, you will be responsible for thediagnosis, repair, rebuilding, and reconditioningofautomatic and manual transmissionsacross a wide range ofvehicle makes and models. This is a hands-on role suited to someone with strong mechanical and gearbox knowledge and the ability to work independently in a high-volume workshop.
Key Responsibilities:

Strip down, inspect, diagnose, and rebuildautomatic and manual gearboxes

Recondition and repairtransmissions, torque converters, and differentials
-
Identify mechanical and hydraulic faults using diagnostic tools and manual inspection

Maintain clean, precise, and organised work practices

Complete work to manufacturer and workshop standards within required timeframes

Support the wider team with mechanical repairs as required
Requirements:

Minimum5 years\’ experienceas a Transmission Technician / Gearbox Specialist

Proven ability todiagnose, strip, and rebuildtransmissions formultiple makes and models

Strong mechanical knowledge and attention to detail

Ability to work independently and manage own workload

Experience in a high-volume reconditioning or main dealer environment is a strong advantage
