Role Overview - 9 month FTC with possibility of extension. The Integration Solution Architect is responsible for designing and delivering enterprise integration solutions across complex technology environments. The role ensures reliable and secure data and process flows between core business platforms such as ERP systems, service management tools, contact centre platforms and enterprise data services.

Working with business stakeholders, delivery teams and third-party suppliers, the architect will define integration approaches, oversee implementation and support the transition of solutions into operational support teams. The role also ensures alignment with recognised digital service standards and technology governance frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and lead the delivery of enterprise integration solutions using MuleSoft and API-led architecture.
  • Define integration strategies and ensure alignment with enterprise architecture and security standards.
  • Collaborate with analysts and delivery teams to translate business requirements into technical integration designs.
  • Facilitate integration design workshops with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Oversee integration between enterprise platforms, ensuring secure, reliable and scalable data flows.
  • Produce and maintain integration documentation including solution designs, interface specifications and data flow diagrams.
  • Support integration testing, issue resolution and transition to operational support teams.
  • Ensure integrations include appropriate monitoring, alerting and operational support capabilities.

Skills & Experience Required

  • Strong experience designing enterprise integrations using MuleSoft (Anypoint Platform).
  • Experience integrating with enterprise platforms including Oracle-based systems and APIs.
  • Knowledge of integration architecture patterns, middleware, REST/SOAP APIs and data transformation.
  • Experience working across complex enterprise technology estates.
  • Strong documentation, stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Experience delivering integration solutions within Agile or hybrid delivery environments.

Desirable

  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
  • Familiarity with operational monitoring or security monitoring integrations.
  • Architecture certification such as TOGAF or equivalent.
