Location: Larbert, Scotland
As Group Supplier Quality Engineer, you will lead supplier concern investigations, manage supplier meetings, and validate supplier parts to ensure quality standards are met. You will qualify new suppliers, conduct audits, and drive continuous improvement initiatives across the supply base. You will be a key player in crisis management, supporting in-service and in-factory quality incidents, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and implement corrective actions. You will also support reliability investigations, prepare performance data for supplier reviews, and lead RCCA and 8D activities. Your role will be instrumental in improving supplier process capability and ensuring consistent quality across all supplied components.
We are looking for a quality-focused engineer with experience in QA auditing within an automotive environment. You will have a strong understanding of ISO 9001, IATF 16949, and supplier quality tools such as SPC, RCCA, PPAP, 8D, 5S, and FMEA. You will bring excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills, along with the ability to write clear and concise reports.
- Bonus: HND/Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Quality Engineering
- CQI certifications
- Experience with APQP and QlikSense reporting tools
