We design, deliver, and support market-leading buses and coaches that help reduce emissions, improve air quality, and keep communities connected. Every role contributes to that mission whether you’re engineering, driving sales, improving production, or supporting our customers.

What You’ll Do

As Senior Engineering Manager – Product Management, you will own the product vision, strategy and roadmap across key areas of our portfolio. You’ll play a critical role in ensuring we build the right products at the right time for the right customers — maximising commercial success and long‑term business value. You’ll lead a team of product‑focused managers, collaborate across Engineering, Design, Marketing and Commercial teams, and use customer insight, data and market intelligence to inform every decision. Your leadership will shape product direction from concept through launch and lifecycle optimisation.

What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking a strategic, customer‑centric leader with a strong background in product ownership and end‑to‑end lifecycle management. You’ll bring experience operating at a senior level within a complex engineering environment, with a proven ability to balance priorities, manage diverse stakeholders and translate strategy into actionable plans. You’ll be an exceptional communicator, commercially aware, analytically strong and comfortable navigating dynamic legislative, market and technological pressures. Above all, you’ll be a collaborative leader who inspires teams and drives clarity, alignment and performance.

Bonus if you have:

  • Degree‑level qualification in engineering, business administration or a related field
  • Chartered status or equivalent professional accreditation
  • Qualifications in product management, project management (APM, Prince2) or business management
  • Experience with grant funding applications and administration

  • Culture & Belonging: An inclusive environment; your voice matters; we treat people fairly.
  • Perks & Benefits: Competitive salary, pension, wellbeing support, cycle to work scheme, enhanced maternity and paternity benefits.
