POSITION SUMMARY:
We\’re looking for a commercially driven leader to shape and execute our sales strategy, service contract offerings, and pricing plans across the aftermarket sector. As Head of Commercial – AD24, you\’ll lead a high-performing team, forge strong client partnerships, and optimise commercial performance to deliver revenue, margin, and long-term customer success.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
- Lead and deliver sales strategies that drive growth in the OE service market, including international opportunities
- Identify and secure new business while deepening relationships with existing customers
- Inspire, support, and manage a high-performing sales team to meet revenue and margin targets
- Collaborate cross-functionally to boost market penetration and customer satisfaction
Service Contract Innovation
- Design and manage value-driven service contracts that meet customer and business needs
- Work with stakeholders to structure commercial offerings that align with long-term objectives
- Monitor contract performance, ensuring compliance, profitability, and customer success
- Negotiate complex service agreements to build lasting client partnerships
Pricing & Revenue Optimisation
- Develop competitive pricing strategies that maximise margin and market share
- Analyse market, customer, and competitor data to guide commercial decisions
- Implement dynamic pricing models aligned with business goals
- Partner with finance and product teams to refine pricing structures for profitability
Market Intelligence & Commercial Strategy
- Conduct market and competitor analysis to uncover trends and growth opportunities
- Use insights to shape strategy and maintain a competitive edge in the aftermarket sector
- Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership to support decision-making
Stakeholder Engagement & Brand Leadership
- Build strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and industry stakeholders
- Represent AD24 at events, trade shows, and client meetings to enhance our market presence
- Drive collaboration across marketing, operations, and finance to align on key initiatives
Leadership & Governance
- Lead by example, role-modelling company values and promoting a culture of accountability
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, regulatory standards, and HSE requirements
- Foster a high-performance culture within a team of 20+ direct reports
WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:
- A strategic and commercially minded approach, with a strong focus on delivering results
- Proven leadership skills with experience managing and developing high-performing teams
- Excellent decision-making and problem-solving abilities
- Confident influencing and negotiation skills at senior/executive level
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret financial data and market insights
- High proficiency in CRM systems and business intelligence tools
- Outstanding communication and stakeholder management skills
- Resilient, adaptable, and comfortable leading through change
- Customer-focused with a passion for continuous improvement
Experience & Qualifications
- Significant experience in a senior commercial leadership role within the automotive or OE aftermarket sector
- Demonstrated success in service contract design, pricing strategy, and commercial delivery
- Strong background in sales leadership and contract negotiation
- Experience working within matrix organisations and across multiple geographies
- Bachelor\’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field (MBA preferred)
