At Alexander Dennis, our vision is to lead the evolution of sustainable on-road mass transportation and mobility. We design, deliver, and support market-leading buses and coaches that help reduce emissions, improve air quality, and keep communities connected. Every role contributes to that mission whether you’re engineering, driving sales, improving production, or supporting our customers.

What You’ll Do

As Commercial Operations Manager for AD24, you’ll act as the central commercial engine of our aftermarket Parts and Service business. You’ll lead commercial planning, pricing governance, and business intelligence, ensuring our strategy is translated into clear, actionable plans and delivered with consistency and discipline.

Leading a team of analysts, project managers, and bid specialists, you will drive tender performance, commercial insight, digital enablement, and operational alignment—supporting profitable growth and high-quality execution across the business.

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for a commercially driven leader with strong experience in commercial or sales operations. You’ll bring excellent financial and analytical capability, combined with the ability to lead teams and influence stakeholders across a complex organisation.

A confident communicator, you’ll be comfortable translating strategy into execution, managing multiple priorities, and driving performance through insight, governance, and continuous improvement. Experience within aftermarket or automotive environments would be highly advantageous.

Bonus if you have:

  • Experience within aftermarket, bus & coach, or heavy vehicle sectors
  • Strong knowledge of pricing strategies, tender management, and margin optimisation
  • Experience working with ERP/CRM/BI systems (e.g. Syspro)
  • Exposure to digital platforms, e-commerce, or “All Makes” growth strategies
  • Track record of delivering cross-functional transformation projects

What We Offer

Because we know that to deliver on our vision, people have to feel supported and inspired:

  • Impact: Be part of something that’s changing cities, improving air quality, helping public transport evolve.
  • Development & Growth: Training programmes, mentorship, opportunities to take on new roles, broaden skills.
  • Culture & Belonging: An inclusive environment; your voice matters; we treat people fairly.
  • Perks & Benefits: Competitive salary, pension, wellbeing support, cycle to work scheme, enhanced maternity and paternity benefits.
