As the EHS Manager for our Scarborough site, you will lead the Health & Safety function and ensure compliance with all regulatory, statutory, and organisational requirements. You’ll provide guidance, leadership, and expert advice across operations, helping to minimise risk, prevent incidents, and build a proactive safety culture. This role also plays a key part in shaping and implementing EHS policies, driving continuous improvement, and ensuring the effective integration of the wider Group H&S strategy.

You’ll bring strong experience in a Health & Safety leadership role, ideally within a manufacturing environment. You will be an effective communicator, confident to engage at all levels of the organisation, set high standards, influence behaviours, and build positive working relationships. You’ll have excellent organisational skills, a high attention to detail, and the ability to drive both compliance and cultural development.

Bonus if you have:

  • A Health & Safety Degree or equivalent Safety Management diploma
  • IOSH or NEBOSH qualifications (essential requirement)
  • 5-10 years’ experience leading an H&S function
  • Experience managing EHS systems aligned with ISO standards
  • Knowledge of environmental permitting, waste management and compliance reporting
  • Experience in incident investigation, corrective actions, and emergency response
