What You'll Do

  • You'll develop best-in-class commodity strategies for the procurement of key body components, ensuring cost, quality, and delivery objectives are met.
  • You'll identify new sources of supply, negotiate commercial and contractual terms, and manage supplier performance to improve cost and availability.
  • You'll work closely with design engineering teams to drive early supplier involvement in new product development and support a team of buyers and procurement engineers.

What We're Looking For

  • We're looking for an experienced commodity manager with extensive experience in strategic sourcing and supplier relationship management, ideally within the automotive industry.
  • You'll have excellent commercial acumen, negotiation skills, and the ability to build strong relationships internally and externally.
  • Strong planning and decision-making skills are essential.

Qualifications

  • Graduate qualification in Engineering or Business discipline
  • MCIPS qualification
  • Experience in managing risk and driving cost improvement
