What You’ll Do

As the Advanced Engineering Business Manager, you will manage a portfolio of early-stage technology projects that enable innovation, de-risk future programmes and support long-term product strategy. You will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to understand requirements, assess feasibility, secure funding, and manage delivery against Quality, Cost and Delivery objectives. Your work will support the identification, development and commercialisation of new technology solutions for the next generation of AD products.

What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking someone with strong project management skills, commercial awareness and a structured, analytical approach to technical problem-solving. You’ll have experience managing engineering projects, ideally within the automotive sector and be confident communicating with stakeholders at every level. You’ll bring a customer-focused mindset, the ability to work independently as well as part of a wider team, and the curiosity and entrepreneurial spirit needed to identify and evaluate emerging technologies.

Bonus if you have:

  • Experience using Microsoft Project
  • Understanding of manufacturing processes
  • Experience with R&D funding applications or early-stage technology development
  • Ability to critically assess technology value propositions
