What You’ll Do

As a Painter within our Scarborough Production team, you’ll use your skills and experience to prepare vehicle body structures and refinish vehicles in line with works and customer specifications. You’ll be responsible for interpreting paint schemes and specifications, selecting the correct tools and materials, and applying finishes that meet strict quality and time standards. Working closely with Team Leaders, Quality, Sales, and fellow colleagues, you’ll contribute to a safe, clean, and efficient paint environment while taking pride in delivering a right-first-time finish.

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for a time-served Vehicle Paint Refinisher with a strong safety mindset and experience in a paint-based manufacturing or assembly environment. You’ll be comfortable working independently as well as part of a team, able to follow detailed specifications, and committed to maintaining high quality standards. A proactive attitude, attention to detail, and the flexibility to work shift patterns are essential for this role.

Bonus if you have

  • Experience in heavy vehicle, automotive, or complex manufacturing painting
  • Strong understanding of quality standards and paint defect prevention
  • Confidence working across different paint bays and shifts
