What You’ll Do

As the EHS Manager for our Scarborough site, you will lead the Health & Safety function and ensure compliance with all regulatory, statutory, and organisational requirements. You’ll provide guidance, leadership, and expert advice across operations, helping to minimise risk, prevent incidents, and build a proactive safety culture. This role also plays a key part in shaping and implementing EHS policies, driving continuous improvement, and ensuring the effective integration of the wider Group H&S strategy.

What We’re Looking For

  • You’ll bring strong experience in a Health & Safety leadership role, ideally within a manufacturing environment.
  • You will be an effective communicator with the confidence to engage at all levels of the organisation, set high standards, influence behaviours, and build positive working relationships.
  • You’ll have excellent organisational skills, a high attention to detail, and the ability to drive both compliance and cultural development.

Bonus if you have

  • A Health & Safety Degree or equivalent Safety Management diploma
  • IOSH or NEBOSH qualifications (essential requirement)
  • 5–10 years’ experience leading an H&S function
  • Experience managing EHS systems aligned with ISO standards
  • Knowledge of environmental permitting, waste management and compliance reporting
  • Experience in incident investigation, corrective actions, and emergency response
