Responsibilities:
- Take ownership of a defined group of commodities, driving value through effective sourcing, supplier management, and cost reduction initiatives.
- Develop and implement commodity strategies aligned to business objectives.
- Lead supplier negotiations.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure performance, quality, and commercial success across the supply chain.
Qualifications:
- Commercially astute procurement professional with experience managing commodities and supplier relationships in a fast‑paced environment.
- Confident in negotiation, capable of influencing stakeholders, and skilled at analysing market trends to deliver value.
- Strong communication, organisation, and collaborative skills.
Preferred:
- Professional qualification in Purchasing or Supply (e.g. CIPS) or relevant business degree.
- Experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
- Knowledge of global sourcing and supply market analysis.
