About the Role
This is a senior leadership position reporting directly to the Director of Finance. You will lead a team of 12 (5 direct reports) and play a pivotal role in shaping financial strategy, driving commercial performance, and optimising procurement practices. The role spans:
- Commercial Finance Leadership: Deliver insight and analysis to support effective decision-making and sustainable surplus generation.
- Strategic Business Partnering: Engage with senior leaders to influence organisational strategy and performance.
- Procurement Oversight: Lead the implementation of a robust procurement strategy, ensuring efficiency and value for money.
- Growth Initiatives: Support acquisitions, disposals, and strategic partnerships aligned with long-term sustainability.
- Systems Implementation: Contribute to the successful delivery of new finance and operational systems.
About You
We’re looking for a dynamic and collaborative leader with:
- A professional accountancy qualification (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA).
- Significant post-qualified experience in senior finance roles.
- Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams.
- Strong commercial acumen and experience in multi-site organisations.
