About the Role

This is a senior leadership position reporting directly to the Director of Finance. You will lead a team of 12 (5 direct reports) and play a pivotal role in shaping financial strategy, driving commercial performance, and optimising procurement practices. The role spans:

  • Commercial Finance Leadership: Deliver insight and analysis to support effective decision-making and sustainable surplus generation.
  • Strategic Business Partnering: Engage with senior leaders to influence organisational strategy and performance.
  • Procurement Oversight: Lead the implementation of a robust procurement strategy, ensuring efficiency and value for money.
  • Growth Initiatives: Support acquisitions, disposals, and strategic partnerships aligned with long-term sustainability.
  • Systems Implementation: Contribute to the successful delivery of new finance and operational systems.

About You

We’re looking for a dynamic and collaborative leader with:

  • A professional accountancy qualification (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA).
  • Significant post-qualified experience in senior finance roles.
  • Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams.
  • Strong commercial acumen and experience in multi-site organisations.
