Alexander Daniels are currently supporting a highly successful, international manufacturing organisation in the appointment of an Interim Financial Accountant for an initial 3-6 month assignment. The Role
This is a broad, hands‑on position suited to a proactive finance professional who enjoys problem‑solving and delivering tangible improvements in a short timeframe. Key responsibilities will include:
- Supporting a range of ad hoc finance projects (including areas such as tax and cashflow analysis)
- Performing balance sheet reconciliations and resolving historic accounting issues
- Investigating discrepancies and ensuring accurate financial reporting
- Strengthening financial controls and processes
- Assisting with wider reporting and compliance requirements
About You
- Qualified or qualified by experience accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent)
- Proven experience in financial accounting and reconciliation work
- Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, project‑led environment
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
- Able to quickly get up to speed and operate with minimal supervision
