The role sits within a specialist tax function and offers responsibility for corporation tax compliance, reporting, advisory work and employment tax matters across a sizeable UK and Ireland operation.
The Role
- Managing UK corporation tax compliance and reporting activities
- Overseeing tax provisions, forecasting and tax payments
- Supporting transfer pricing documentation and related reporting
- Advising stakeholders on tax implications of business initiatives and transactions
- Providing support on employment tax matters, including benefits and share schemes
- Partnering with finance and operational teams on major investment and business projects
- Monitoring legislative developments and ensuring ongoing compliance
- Driving process improvements and identifying opportunities for automation and efficiency enhancements
This is a role that extends well beyond compliance, providing involvement in significant capital projects, innovation initiatives and strategic business decisions.
About You
We’re interested in speaking with candidates who bring:
- Strong UK Corporation Tax experience
- Experience gained within industry or practice
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- A commercial mindset and ability to provide practical tax advice
- Experience of tax reporting and tax accounting processes
- Professional qualifications such as CTA, ACA or ACCA would be advantageous but are not essential
