The role:

You will play a critical role in executing a buy-and-build strategy focused on acquiring profitable, owner-managed businesses across the UK. You will be responsible for:

  • Deal Origination & Pipeline Development:
    • Building and managing a proactive acquisition pipeline.
    • Identifying and engaging target businesses directly.
    • Developing relationships with owner-managers and sector advisors.
    • Leading initial conversations and assessing strategic fit.
  • Target Evaluation:
    • Conducting high-level commercial, financial and operational assessments.
    • Analysing financial performance, growth potential and strategic fit.
    • Preparing clear recommendations for investment decisions.
  • Deal Structuring & Negotiation:
    • Preparing offers and supporting valuation analysis.
    • Working closely with the CEO on pricing and deal structure.
    • Leading negotiations with business owners.
  • End-to-End Transaction Execution:
    • Managing the full deal lifecycle through to completion.
    • Coordinating legal, financial and operational workstreams.
    • Supporting and influencing due diligence processes.
    • Driving pace and ensuring efficient deal completion.
  • Post-Deal Support:
    • Supporting handover into integration.
    • Contributing to continuous improvement of the acquisition strategy.
