Our client is recruiting for a Management Accountant to join a highly successful and expanding organisation based in Jersey. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, taking ownership of reporting processes, and partnering with stakeholders across the business.
As a Management Accountant, you will play a key role in the finance function, supporting the production of accurate financial information and helping drive business performance.
Key responsibilities include:
- Preparing monthly management accounts and reporting packs
- Posting journals, accruals, prepayments and reconciliations
- Assisting with budgeting and forecasting processes
- Supporting year-end audits and statutory reporting requirements
- Managing accounts payable and receivable activities
- Analysing financial data and providing meaningful insights to stakeholders
- Identifying opportunities to improve financial processes and controls
About You
- Previous experience in a management accounting or finance role
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational abilities
- Advanced Excel skills and confidence working with financial systems
- A proactive approach and the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Strong communication skills with the ability to build relationships across the business
