Legal Counsel

We are working with a leading offshore law firm seeking an experienced Dispute Resolution Counsel to join its growing Jersey team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a senior litigation lawyer to work on some of the most significant offshore disputes, cross-border restructurings, and insolvency matters in the market. The role offers exposure to complex, high-value cases spanning multiple jurisdictions, alongside genuine opportunities to contribute to business development and practice growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Advise clients on complex commercial litigation and insolvency matters.
• Manage a broad range of disputes, including shareholder disputes, injunctions, interim relief applications, and commercial trials.
• Draft legal opinions, reports, correspondence, and court documents.
• Conduct legal research and provide strategic, commercially focused advice.
• Attend client meetings and support advocacy efforts.
• Contribute to business development, networking, and client relationship management initiatives.

Requirements

• Qualified Solicitor with 10+ years' PQE.
• Strong background in commercial litigation, with restructuring and insolvency experience highly desirable.
• Experience ideally gained within a leading international or top-tier law firm environment.
• Admitted in England & Wales or Jersey.
• Strong technical ability, commercial awareness, and client management skills.
