We're partnering with a growing international fiduciary and family office business to appoint a Global Head of Client Accounting. This is a highly visible leadership opportunity for an experienced Chartered Accountant who thrives in complex, multi-jurisdictional environments and has a proven track record of transforming accounting operations. Reporting directly to the CFO, you will lead the evolution of a large client accounting function across multiple jurisdictions, driving operational excellence, improving service delivery, modernising processes, and embedding technology and AI-enabled solutions. This role combines strategic transformation with hands-on leadership and offers the opportunity to make a lasting impact on a business undergoing significant growth and change.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading the transformation of the client accounting operating model across multiple international locations
- Driving process improvement, workflow redesign, and operational efficiency
- Clearing historical backlogs and establishing scalable, future-ready practices
- Leading and developing geographically dispersed teams
- Implementing automation and AI solutions to enhance productivity and controls
- Acting as a trusted advisor on complex accounting matters and stakeholder management
- Supporting system migration and adoption initiatives
We're keen to speak with candidates who have:
- Chartered Accountant qualification (ACA, ACCA, CA or equivalent)
- Extensive experience within fiduciary, trust, private client, family office, or complex corporate services environments
- Demonstrable success leading large-scale transformation, turnaround, or restructuring programmes
- Strong people leadership and change management capabilities
- Experience improving processes, controls, and service delivery in accounting functions
- Knowledge of technology-enabled accounting operations and AI applications
