We are partnering with a leading international financial services business seeking a talented Fund Accountant to join its growing fund services team. Working with a portfolio of closed-ended private equity structures, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality financial reporting, fund accounting, NAV calculations, and client service excellence whilst collaborating with investors, auditors, directors, and other professional advisers.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Managing the preparation and review of financial reporting for a portfolio of private equity funds and related entities
  • Producing annual financial statements, management accounts, and investor capital account statements
  • Calculating and reviewing Net Asset Values (NAVs)
  • Supporting the onboarding and reporting setup of new fund structures
  • Liaising with clients, auditors, and professional advisers to ensure reporting deadlines are achieved
  • Attending client and board meetings to present financial information and discuss accounting matters
  • Advising internal teams on capital calls, distributions, and investor-related queries
  • Ensuring compliance with accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and internal procedures
  • Contributing to the ongoing enhancement of reporting processes and best practices

What you’ll need:

  • ACA or ACCA qualified, or nearing qualification
  • Strong technical accounting knowledge and practical fund accounting experience
  • Experience with closed-ended private equity funds (highly desirable)
  • Advanced Excel skills and strong systems proficiency
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise effectively
  • A proactive mindset and ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Experience with eFront would be advantageous
