We are partnering with a leading international financial services business seeking a talented Fund Accountant to join its growing fund services team. Working with a portfolio of closed-ended private equity structures, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality financial reporting, fund accounting, NAV calculations, and client service excellence whilst collaborating with investors, auditors, directors, and other professional advisers.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Managing the preparation and review of financial reporting for a portfolio of private equity funds and related entities
- Producing annual financial statements, management accounts, and investor capital account statements
- Calculating and reviewing Net Asset Values (NAVs)
- Supporting the onboarding and reporting setup of new fund structures
- Liaising with clients, auditors, and professional advisers to ensure reporting deadlines are achieved
- Attending client and board meetings to present financial information and discuss accounting matters
- Advising internal teams on capital calls, distributions, and investor-related queries
- Ensuring compliance with accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and internal procedures
- Contributing to the ongoing enhancement of reporting processes and best practices
What you’ll need:
- ACA or ACCA qualified, or nearing qualification
- Strong technical accounting knowledge and practical fund accounting experience
- Experience with closed-ended private equity funds (highly desirable)
- Advanced Excel skills and strong systems proficiency
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise effectively
- A proactive mindset and ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Experience with eFront would be advantageous
