SLA Field Service Engineer

Our client, a leading contract manufacturer and AM service bureau, is seeking a skilled Field Service Engineer to join their team. Based around the London region of UK, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and optimising their stereolithography (SLA) machines utilised from 3D Systems.\\n\\nKey Responsibilities:\\n\\n * Machine Maintenance and Troubleshooting: Oversee the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of SLA machines to ensure optimal performance.\\n\\n * Part Production and Quality Control: Prepare, monitor, and post-process printed parts, adhering to strict quality standards.\\n\\n * Process Optimization: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize print processes and improve output quality.\\n\\n * Quality Assurance: Conduct regular quality inspections and implement corrective actions.\\n\\n * Machine Setup and Calibration: Configure and calibrate printers for new projects.\\n\\n * Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement solutions.\\n\\n * Technical Support: Provide technical support and training to team members.\\n\\n * Documentation: Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, print jobs, and inventory.\\n\\nRequirements:\\n\\n * Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of SLA industrial technology and related AM processes.\\n\\n * Mechanical and Electrical Skills: Proficiency in mechanical and electrical maintenance of SLA machines.\\n\\n * Problem-Solving: Ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.\\n\\n * Quality Focus: Commitment to delivering high-quality products and services.\\n\\n * Communication Skills: Effective communication with colleagues and customers.\\n\\n * Travel Readiness: Willingness to travel to multiple sites within Europe.\\n\\n * CAD Proficiency: Familiarity with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) is a plus.\\n\\nIf you are a passionate and dedicated field service engineer with a strong background in SLA technology, we encourage you to apply.
