Our client is a leader in industrial networking and OT cyber security, hiring a Network and Cyber Security Consultant to join their growing technical team. This is a hands-on role covering solution design, consultancy, audits, and delivery for industrial customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Translate customer requirements into practical, scalable network and cyber security solutions.
- Propose and present innovative architectures tailored to industrial environments.
- Deliver consultancy and engineering work to agreed time, cost, and quality standards.
- Lead or support technical workshops and training sessions.
- Execute Proof of Value projects.
- Mentor junior team members and uphold a collaborative team culture.
- Support quality improvement and customer satisfaction initiatives.
- Engage cross-functionally to support innovation in products, processes, and customer value.
- Provide accurate, reliable technical advice to customers and colleagues.
- Deliver consultancy and project work on time and within budget.
Key Skills (Essential)
- CCNA (current) or equivalent networking certification.
- CISSP, GICSP or equivalent security certification.
- Strong understanding of networking and cyber security products in industrial environments.
- Experience working on live Industrial Control Systems.
- Solid Microsoft Server OS and general networking knowledge.
- Experience with virtualised environments.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills (Engineer to C-Suite).
Desirable Experience
- Delivering solutions to security frameworks (ISA/IEC 62443, OG86, CAF, NIST, PAS86).
- Cisco, Fortinet and industrial networking (Hirschmann/Belden).
- Windows and Linux administration.
- Network monitoring, event logging, zones/conduits.
- Kali Linux tooling knowledge.
- Understanding of SCADA (bonus: AVEVA exposure).
- Threat detection and device hardening experience.
