We’re supporting a private equity-backed, global engineering and manufacturing group (~£200m revenue) supplying safety-critical components into sectors including energy, infrastructure, and defence. Following a recent integration of its European operations, the business is entering a key transformation and growth phase, creating an opportunity for a high-calibre Finance Director to join the leadership team of a c.£60m division based in the West Midlands.
The Role
- Reporting to the Group CFO and partnering closely with the Managing Director, you will:
- Act as a true commercial business partner to drive performance and value creation
- Lead the finance function, ensuring strong controls, reporting, and governance
- Provide insight across costing, pricing, working capital, and operational performance
- Play a key role in transformation, integration, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Support strategic decision-making, from shop floor operations to board-level discussions
