A well-established and growing accountancy practice based in Telford is seeking a Finance Manager/Senior Accountant. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced practice accountant looking to take the next step in their career within a supportive firm offering clear progression opportunities.
The Role
- Manage your own portfolio of clients
- Review work and support junior team members
- Manage a mixed client portfolio (sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies)
- Prepare and review statutory accounts and corporation tax returns
- Prepare and review personal tax returns
- Assist clients with VAT returns, bookkeeping, and management accounts
- Review work and mentor junior staff
- Build strong client relationships and liaise with HMRC
About You
- Minimum 4 years' experience within a UK accountancy practice
- Strong technical knowledge of accounts and tax compliance
- Experience managing clients and reviewing work
- Confident communicator with good organisational skills
