A fantastic opportunity for a qualified accountant to take ownership of key financial reporting while supporting and mentoring a developing finance team. You'll play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality management accounts, driving process improvements, and providing commercial insight to senior stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ownership of monthly management accounts, including full P&L and commentary
  • Review and improve month-end processes to ensure accuracy and efficiency
  • Line management and development of junior finance staff
  • Review forecasts and budgets, challenging assumptions and adding commercial insight
  • Support annual budgeting and ongoing forecasting cycles
  • Oversee reconciliations, journals, and technical accounting areas
  • Build strong relationships with operational stakeholders and present financial insights
  • Maintain audit-ready documentation and support audit processes
  • Identify and implement process improvements across the finance function

About You

  • Fully qualified (ACA / ACCA / CIMA)
  • Strong technical knowledge of P&L and balance sheet
  • Confident reviewing work and mentoring junior team members
  • Excellent communication skills with both finance and non-finance stakeholders
  • Proven experience in a Management Accountant role within a multi-site environment
