What You’ll Be Doing

  • Processing payroll for 400+ monthly employees using a time and attendance system.
  • Managing weekly and monthly payrolls to strict deadlines.
  • Handling starters, leavers, transfers, salary changes, and benefits administration.
  • Preparing payroll reports and statutory submissions.
  • Performing manual calculations for tax, NI, and other deductions when needed.
  • Assisting with pensions, share schemes, and year-end processes.
  • Responding to employee queries and providing excellent internal service.
  • Supporting process improvements to make payroll more efficient.

What We’re Looking For

  • 2–3 years’ experience in a payroll role (essential).
  • Strong knowledge of payroll legislation and compliance.
  • Excellent Microsoft Excel and IT skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and use your initiative.
  • A proactive mindset and a desire to work in a challenging, rewarding environment.
