Alexander Daniels is urgently recruiting for a Payroll Administrator to join a leading family-owned business based in Birmingham on a full-time basis. Reporting directly into the Finance Manager, you\’ll be responsible for managing the end to end monthly payroll and maintaining accurate payroll data and records.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for processing monthly payrolls.
- Maintaining accurate employee records.
- Process Real Time Information (RTI) submissions to HMRC as required.
- Resolving pay-related queries, correcting any errors, and working with internal stakeholders to accurately complete payroll requests.
- Producing and reconciling payroll journals to ensure correct information is reported back to senior leadership.
- Downloading reports from HMRC and reconciling to PAYE control accounts.
- Other ad-hoc duties.
- Excellent data entry and data cleaning skills.
- Familiarity with payroll software.
- Knowledge of legislation and procedures pertaining to salary deductions.
- Adherence to all prescribed ethical guidelines, including confidentiality.
- Ability to work on own initiative, working within a team and the ability to meet deadlines.
