We're delighted to be partnered with a unique business in their search for a Head of External Partnerships. This role will see you managing a sizeable team responsible for new business development and generation of long-term strategic partnerships with external commercial businesses.
As the Head of External Partnerships, you will be responsible for:
- Supporting a three year strategic commercial plan during a period of heavy transformation
- Creating a feasible commercial sales target and developing a plan with your team to achieve said target
- Driving the growth of commercial partnerships with external enterprises
- Identifying business opportunities through market research and developing business plans to capitalise
- Working with the marketing and operations team to enact business proposals
- Managing an experienced team of business development professionals
- Monitoring ongoing performance of commercial activities using sales and financial metrics
- Continuous improvement of business development strategies, and training colleagues as necessary
This is a strategic and senior-operating hire that will be both on the tools, but also dealing with senior leadership on a daily basis, and actively working towards a massive new growth trajectory from the business.
To be highly experienced as a Head of Commercial or Commercial Director.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to business partner senior leadership.
Team management skills, leading a sizeable business development team.
Skilled at creating insightful reports and monitoring commercial progress.
Please note this role is based at least two days/week in Birmingham and will require infrequent travel.
