Alexander Daniels are recruiting for an Assistant Accountant for a business based in Oldbury on a temporary 2-3 month basis. This role offers great exposure in a growing business, working closely with the Finance Manager you will gain invaluable experience and the opportunity to further your career.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monthly bank reconciliations
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- The preparation of VAT returns
- Processing and understanding of completion statements
- Partake in monthly business reviews, communicating with senior leadership team
- Assist the accounts assistant with processing of invoices
- Assist with the year-end account’s preparation
- Any other Ad hoc requirements
Essential requirements:
- Sage experience
- Excellent Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP'S)
- Two years previous experience in a similar role
- Excellent communication skills
