The leadership team has a strong and reputable history in the market, and is on a massive growth trajectory.

As the Head of Investment, you will be responsible for:

  • Building, managing and maintaining complex financial models for site acquisitions, land deals and funding arrangements.
  • Creating scenario plans and sensitivity analysis, deal viability appraisals and risk assessments to advise the SLT and investors on plans forward.
  • Ownership of cash flow analyses, funding structures and development timelines.
  • Use of IRR, NPV, profitability, residuals and exit strategies.
  • Preparation of investor packs for internal stakeholders, lenders, joint venture partners and the board.
  • Leading financial due diligence for new opportunities, highlighting risks and verifying financials.
  • Acting as a point of contact to external advisors and investors, supporting negotiations, deal execution and commercial structuring.
  • Management of a portfolio of development projects, ensuring adherence to budget and enacting plans for change where spend has deviated from approved budget.
  • Supporting the long term development plans for the business, ensuring a strong forecasted pipeline and capital allocation.
  • Analysis of competitors and economic trends to scenario model against current projects.
  • Driving continuous improvement in corporate finance modelling, reporting and decision support tools.
  • Production of accurate and timely financial reporting for ongoing developments, SPVs and group activities.

The ideal candidate for this role will either be:

  • A qualified accountant (ICAEW or ICAS) from a Top 20 background with experience in corporate finance/transaction services, including expert financial modelling for valuations and deals.
  • An industry‑trained accountant (ACCA or CIMA) who has worked within mergers and acquisitions, and is an expert corporate finance modeller.
  • A real estate professional who currently works as an Investment Manager or Senior Investment Analyst, with specific experience building models for land valuation, project development and execution, and forward‑funding structures.

This really is about the right person, so if you feel you are a good fit for this role but sit outside the above routes, please do still apply.
