A fantastic opportunity for a finance professional with strong stock and inventory knowledge to take ownership of a high-impact role. You’ll be responsible for driving visibility, accuracy, and control over stock-related financials—working closely with operations, supply chain, and commercial teams.
- Own and manage inventory reporting and reconciliations, ensuring alignment between physical and financial records
- Develop and report on inventory KPIs: turnover, days on hand, provisions, and write-offs
- Lead month-end and year-end inventory close processes and reporting
- Support physical inventory audits and cycle counts
- Assist in stock valuation reviews related to external funding or audit processes
Qualifications:
- Fully qualified accountant (ACCA/CIMA/ACA) or QBE with strong inventory exposure
- Proven experience in retail, FMCG, or distribution sectors desirable
- Confident with financial reporting, controls, and analysis relating to stock
- Strong Excel skills and experience working with large ERP or stock management systems
- Able to present complex data to non-finance stakeholders
- Detail-oriented with commercial awareness and problem-solving mindset
