Alexander Daniels are working with a fast-growing specialist tax advisory firm in Nottingham City Centre to recruit ambitious Assistant Managers and Managers into their Corporate & International Tax team. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic and expanding practice that delivers high-quality advisory and compliance services to a broad and varied client base across multiple sectors.
You will be part of a collaborative team where development, progression, and flexibility are genuinely prioritised.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality corporate tax advisory and compliance work
- Support transactions and restructuring projects, including:
- Acquisitions and disposals
- Corporate and shareholder reorganisations
- Tax due diligence
- Demergers
- Prepare and review complex tax computations and tax accounting disclosures
- Advise on key areas such as:
- Corporate interest restriction
- Group relief and loss planning
- Controlled foreign company (CFC) matters
- Build and maintain strong client and intermediary relationships
- Identify opportunities to expand services and add value to clients
- Mentor and develop junior team members
- Manage projects and deliver work to deadlines
- 2+ years’ experience (Assistant Manager) or 4+ years’ experience (Manager) in a corporate tax role
- Strong experience in tax advisory and compliance
- Professionally qualified (ATT / CTA / ACA) or equivalent
- Confident dealing directly with clients and stakeholders
- Solid understanding of UK corporate tax and tax accounting principles
- Strong communication, organisation, and project management skills
- Experience with Alphatax is beneficial but not essential
