Our client is a well-established, privately owned business with an outstanding reputation within the consumer products sector. Following continued growth and investment, they are seeking an experienced IT & Systems Manager to take ownership of the company's IT infrastructure while leading the implementation and adoption of AI technologies across the organisation.

This is a unique opportunity for a hands‑on technology professional who enjoys balancing strategic projects with day‑to‑day operational responsibility.

Reporting directly to the senior leadership team, you'll play a key role in shaping the company's future technology roadmap.

As IT & Systems Manager, you will:

• Lead the introduction and deployment of AI tools and technologies across multiple business functions.
• Manage and maintain all areas of IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, cloud platforms, hardware and cybersecurity.
• Ensure systems remain secure, reliable and resilient, minimising downtime and business disruption.
• Act as the primary point of contact for all IT suppliers and managed service providers, including commercial negotiations and vendor management.
• Provide hands‑on technical support to users across the business.
• Identify and implement system improvements that enhance operational efficiency and support future growth.
• Develop and deliver the organisation's technology strategy in line with business objectives.

About You

We're looking for an experienced and commercially minded IT professional who can operate both strategically and hands‑on.

You will ideally have:

• Proven experience in IT and systems management within a growing SME or mid‑sized business environment.
• Relevant technical qualifications such as CompTIA, Microsoft, Cisco, ITIL or equivalent.
• Demonstrable experience implementing AI tools, automation projects or digital transformation initiatives.
• Strong knowledge of infrastructure, networking, cloud technologies and cybersecurity.
• Excellent supplier and stakeholder management skills.
• A practical, solution‑focused approach with the ability to work independently and take ownership.
• A passion for continuous professional development and emerging technologies.
