This position is OFFICE BASED. We are looking for an exceptional PPC Specialist to take ownership of paid acquisition at a fast-growing R&D tax consultancy working with some of the UK's most innovative, technology-led businesses. You will be responsible for building, optimising and scaling high-intent Google Ads campaigns, supported by paid social where appropriate, to drive qualified leads, booked consultations, and measurable commercial outcomes.

As our PPC Specialist, you will sit at the heart of our performance marketing function, working closely with our SEO expert, content writer and leadership team, to turn paid traffic into predictable, scalable revenue. You will have autonomy, trust, and responsibility, with clear commercial goals and the freedom to test, refine and scale what works.

What You Will Own

  • Google Ads & Search Dominance
    • Build, manage and scale high-intent Google Ads campaigns.
    • Execute advanced keyword strategies across competitive, specialist B2B terms.
    • Structure accounts for efficiency, Quality Score growth, and long-term scalability.
    • Continuously optimise bids, match types, audiences and ad formats to maximise ROI.
    • Ruthlessly test ad copy, extensions and landing page alignment to improve CTR and CVR.
  • LinkedIn Ads & Paid Social (B2B Focus)
    • Plan and execute LinkedIn Ads campaigns targeting founders, finance directors, CTOs and innovation leaders.
    • Leverage job titles, firmographics and intent-based targeting to drive high-quality leads.
    • Collaborate with content and SEO to repurpose messaging that resonates with technical and financial audiences.
    • Test formats including lead gen forms, document ads and conversation ads.
  • Tracking, Attribution & Performance
    • Own conversion tracking using Google Tag Manager, GA4 and platform-level insights.
    • Ensure accurate attribution across paid channels and landing pages.
    • Monitor CPL, CAC, conversion rate and lead quality.
    • Deliver clear, insightful reporting that translates performance into commercial impact.
  • Strategy, Testing & Growth
    • Design a paid media roadmap aligned with business growth targets.
    • Identify new opportunities across keywords, audiences, creatives and platforms.
    • Stay ahead of Google Ads updates, automation changes, AI bidding strategies and paid media trends.
    • Work collaboratively with SEO to dominate both paid and organic SERPs where it matters most.

What You Bring to the Table

  • 5+ years hands-on PPC experience, with deep expertise in Google Ads.
  • Proven ability to drive results in high-value, competitive or technical niches.
  • Strong understanding of paid media economics: bids, margins, lifetime value and ROI.
  • Confident using Google Tag Manager, GA4, and platform reporting tools.
  • Experience running LinkedIn Ads for B2B lead generation.
  • A testing mindset, you do not guess, you validate.
  • Solid grasp of SEO principles and how paid & organic work together.
  • Clear communicator who can explain performance without hiding behind jargon.
  • Proactive, commercially minded, and comfortable owning outcomes end-to-end.
